    Casey Pereira

    Casey was born in South Lake Tahoe, California. She received her early ballet lessons from Robin Price and continued her training with the Joffrey Ballet School and the San Francisco Ballet School where she performed in works by George Balanchine, Helgi Tomasson, and August Bournonville. For the past three seasons she has been a member of the Silicon Valley Ballet under the artistic leadership of José Manuel Carreño. During her time with the Silicon Valley Ballet she performed works in the U.S. and Spain, including Minus 16, by Ohad Naharin; Serenade, Theme and Variations, and Who Cares?, by George Balanchine; Cinderella, by Ben Stevenson; and Giselle, by renowned Cuban ballerina, Alicia Alonzo. She has attended summer programs at the Kirov Academy of Ballet, the Joffrey Ballet School, Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet, the San Francisco Ballet, and the Silicon Valley Ballet.
