Company Auditions for the 2016–17 Season

In January 2016, the Ballet will start accepting a résumé and a video/DVD by mail.

Videos should include a classical variation (en pointe for women) and pas de deux or partnering work. Performance video is preferred if possible. Contemporary work may also be submitted. Videos are accepted as a preliminary audition and do not replace a live audition. You may be asked to attend company class if you are unable to attend the scheduled auditions. Dancers auditioning in Minnesota Ballet company class in Duluth must do so during the season when the company is not on tour. The season ends April 2nd, 2017. Because company class can be in several locations please schedule in advance to find locations and times.

General physical attributes:

The Minnesota Ballet is looking for men with a height of 5′-9″ and up, and women with a height of 5′-6″ and under.

Currently, all positions for the 2016-17 season has been filled.

There is a $15 audition fee for each audition. Please bring résumé and dance shot to audition.
