How You Move Is How You Dance

In this class, students learn how dance steps build on ordinary movements to express how we feel, such as reaching, bending, walking done different ways. Students are then put into groups with a choreographer designated in each group, who will create steps and movements to music, then teach them to the eager dancers in their group. At the end of the class they will present the piece to their fellow classmates. This process always ends up being a big lesson in leading, following, and cooperating.
