    Ballet Depot Studios, 506 West Michigan Street

    10:00-10:30 Creative Movement (age 3-5 yrs)
    10:30-11:00 Pre-Ballet (age 6-7 yrs)
    11:00-11:30 Ballet Technique (ages 8-10
    11:30-12:00 Ballet Technique (age 11-adult)
    12:00-12:30 Beginning Tap (age 10-adult)
    12:30-1:00 Jazz (age 12-adult)
    1:00-1:30 Modern (age 12-adult)

    No reservations needed. It’s great chance for children, teens, and adults to try a free class or two and for ballet students new to the school to be placed at the most appropriate level.

    No need to come in special dancewear for the Sampler; come in comfortable clothing.

    Summer is always an exciting place at the School of the Minnesota Ballet, a chance not only to work on ballet technique but to explore and enjoy other dance styles such as jazz, character, tap, and modern.

    Put a little glam and a lot of fun in your life at the Ballet’s ball at the Depot’s lofty Great Hall. Dance to live music from The Jane Gang Orchestra featuring Mary Lou Williams. Nibble on great food from the Vanilla Bean and desserts from How Sweet It Is. Enjoy a floor show. Strut your fancy hat in the Parade of Hats and maybe win a prize. Bid on great items in the auction. $50 per person.

    School of the Minnesota Ballet students. Delectable

    and nutcracker decorations in the silent auction.

    Proceeds benefit financial aid to the School of the
    Minnesota Ballet.
