    Student Summer Showcase, July 28

    The School of the Minnesota Ballet showcases its upper-level students as they demonstrate ballet, modern, jazz, tap, character (European folk dance), musical theater dance, and their own works in progress created during the choreography class. Highlighting the presentation will be special works by two guest teacher/choreographers.

    Igor Burlak
    , who studied at the School of American Ballet, is a faculty member at the Boston Ballet School and former member of such companies as the Minnesota Ballet. His visit is funded in part by the John T. and Elizabeth C. Adams Arts Fund of the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation.

    Marco Carreon, dance faculty member at California State University Dominguez Hills, directs its resident dance company MOSAIC. In March he taught in the North-Central Region American Dance Association Conference, held at UMD.

    Tuition

    For your convenience we now offer online payments for tuition. Please fill in the amount you would like to have applied to your account below and then follow the instructions to pay by Credit Card or a PayPal account. *Note: Please use the “add note to seller” and give a brief description of what class the payment is for and who’s tuition it is. Sometimes we have families with two students and we need to make sure both get credited as paid.


    You must register for classes prior to attending any classes. All students must fill out registration at Ballet office before online tuition payments can be made and before student attends any class.

     


    Wine & Cheese Event

    Sample fine wines and craft-brewed beers, nibble on hors d’oeuvres, and bid on lots of great items: for-fun opportunities, one-of-a-kind gift baskets, gift certficates, and shopping and dining sprees in the silent and live auctions.
