The mission of the Minnesota Ballet, through its company and school, is to preserve and advance the art of ballet, to increase access to ballet, and to use the Minnesota Ballet’s resources to serve the greater community.
Membership
The one constant that has sustained this ballet is community support. Community members founded this ballet in 1965. Community support keeps this fine national touring company based in the Northland. Community support sustains the high-quality performances the Northland has come to love and allows for exciting new productions.

Tribute Gifts
Tribute gifts are a great way for you to honor someone’s birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion, or to honor the memory of a loved one. Tribute gifts are unique and thoughtful in addition to supporting the Ballet.
When you make a tribute gift, the Minnesota Ballet sends a card on your behalf. If you wish, we can include your own special message. An official receipt for income tax records will be issued to you, the donor.
Matching Challenges
A matching challenge not only supports the Ballet but gives other people the opportunity to double the value of their contributions.
Minnesota Ballet Endowment Fund
The Minnesota Ballet Endowment Fund was established in 2003 by an anonymous donor to provide the Ballet a permanent endowment fund managed by the Duluth-Superior Area Community Foundation.
Marsi Endowment Fund
The Marsi Fund was established in 1982 by Elizabeth C. Adams and Maren Moore to provide the Ballet a permanent endowment fund managed by the Depot Foundation. To contribute to the Marsi Fund, please contact:
