Arrival

• Students must have their masks on before approaching the door.

• A short list of basic health questions will be posted at the entrance to the ballet space.. If a student can answer yes to any of the listed questions, they will be excused from the class and asked to monitor symptoms and/or see a doctor. If a student can answer no to all of the listed questions, the student will head straight into their designated studio.

• The student must apply the provided hand sanitizer before entering the studio, so their hands are clean before touching the barre.

• Once the student has entered the studio, they will find a barre spot, maintain proper social distance from their classmates, and place their personal items on the chair provided for their spot.

During Ballet Class

• Students and employees MUST wear a mask at all times.

• Students should maintain proper social distance throughout class(es).

• Students will be allowed to drink from their water bottles throughout class.

• If necessary, they may use the restroom.

After Class

• Parents are asked to pick up their student immediately after class.

• Students should exit through the doors closest to staircase, unless another official exit is designated by the Depot.

School of Minnesota Ballet will continue to review and update this plan when necessary, following governmental guidance and St. Louis County/Depot policies, and healthcare recommendations. We want you and your dancer to have the peace of mind to feel as safe and comfortable as possible with the procedures being implemented.
