Anthony Cefalu began studying ballet in Waukesha, WI, and Norwalk, OH. While in Ohio he was given the opportunity to perform Let’s Say It with Firecrackers from Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn for the Bellevue Society for the Arts as a Guest Artist in 2015. He moved to St. Louis, MO in 2017 to train at Saint Louis Ballet under the direction of Mr. Gen Horiuchi, performing in Saint Louis Ballet’s The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, and Coppelia. He moved to Milwaukee, WI in 2019 to train at the Milwaukee Ballet School and Academy under Rolando Yanes and Monica Isla, performing in the Pre-Professional Training Program’s Ascend and MBSA’s Twas the Night Before Christmas. In 2020 he moved to Louisville, Kentucky to join the Louisville Ballet Studio Company under the direction of Robert Curran and Mikelle Bruzina. During his two seasons with the Louisville Ballet Studio Company, he performed in company productions of Kentucky! Volume One, Robert Curran’s Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and Sleeping Beauty, along with Louisville Ballet School’s Spring Dance Festival. He moved to Duluth in 2022 and joined the Minnesota Ballet, performing in Karl von Rabenau’s The Nutcracker: A Duluth Tale, Forward, and Marius Petipa’s Sleeping Beauty.
