Kira Klinkhardt began her ballet training in her hometown of Brookfield Wisconsin. She has trained in many different styles such as jazz, contemporary, modern, and tap, but discovered her love for ballet, and decided to pursue a professional career in dance. Kira was a part of Milwaukee Ballet’s pre-professional program where she was able to perform many different ballets such as Le Corsaire, Paquita, Raymonda, and Sleeping Beauty. Along with studying classical ballet, Kira has also had the opportunity to perform many contemporary works in Milwaukee’s Fringe Fest, Chicago’s Elpis Festival, and with the contemporary company Dance Circus. She is excited to work with Minnesota Ballet this season and continue to learn and grow as a dancer.
